The larger towns of Guildford and Petersfield are within 20 minutes easy drive up or down the A3, which with the opening of the Hindhead Tunnel provides a virtual motorway between London and the South Coast. There is a fast mainline train station at Liphook linking London and Portsmouth with journey times to London being around 1 hour.
